Pioneering the future of Startups
How we help
INCUBATOR AND ACCELERATOR
From Seed to Success: Rahu Ventures at Your Side
At Rahu Ventures, our mission is to discover startups that are ready for their next big move. But we don’t stop at just finding them. We take a stake in these startups, becoming part of their team. Together, we work hand in hand to prepare them for their pre-seed, seed, or series A, B, or C funding rounds. Our goal is to ensure they’re fully ready to seize these crucial financial opportunities.
WE WORK WITH YOU
Partnering to Shape Your Ideas
As founders of Rahu Ventures, we bring to the table a rich history of entrepreneurship. We have built three thriving traditional businesses in Malaysia: Techfix, Techshift, and nCrypt. These businesses were not fed with spoonfuls of investments from the beginning. Instead, we bootstrapped them from the ground up, turning them into multi-million-dollar enterprises in Malaysia.
Our journey wasn’t straightforward, filled with countless trials and tribulations. Before these businesses saw success, we grappled with many ideas that did not pan out as expected. These experiences, though challenging, served as invaluable lessons about identifying promising ideas, validating them, and fostering their growth. We can quickly determine whether a startup is aiming too high or too low and guide them to focus on the right areas. And if the way forward isn’t clear-cut, we’re skilled at helping startups navigate these crucial questions.
CONNECT
Assisting You Connect with Investors
Our network spans across Southeast Asia and Silicon Valley, and we’re ready to make introductions. However, our support extends beyond just introductions:
Guiding You Through Fundraising
An effective pitch is just one piece of the puzzle. We’ll guide you on how to identify the right investors and strategize your approach to increase your chances of securing funding.
Deciphering & Negotiating Investment Terms
If you’re navigating this terrain for the first time, understanding and negotiating investment terms can be daunting, especially in Southeast Asia where terms can vary greatly. We’re here to demystify these terms, highlight any unusual conditions, and provide guidance on what’s currently considered standard in the industry.
Refining Your Pitch
Many startup pitches tend to be lengthy and often emphasize the wrong aspects. We’ll assist you in crafting a pitch that’s succinct and underscores the elements of your startup that investors find most appealing. We offer a collaborative environment where you can practice your pitch with your peers, receive feedback from investor friends of ours, and finally, showcase your pitch on Demo Day.
